　　on and off　間斷地
　　例句： It rained on and off all day long。
　　今天斷斷續(xù)續(xù)地下著小雨。

on the up and up　坦率，誠實
　　例句：How can we know whether a person is on the up and up by his appearance!
　　從一個人的外表我們怎么能知道他是坦率的呢！

out and about 戶外活動
　　例句： Mr Smith recovers quickly，and he'll be out and about very soon.
　　史密斯先生復(fù)原得很好，很快他就能到戶外活動了。

out and out 完全地，徹底地
　　例句：What I said is an out and out truth.

out of sorts　發(fā)脾氣的
